I tend to notice when something feels off before I know exactly why.
A website. A message. The way something looks, feels, or fits together.
I’m usually the person asking “but why?” one more time — not because everything needs fixing, but because the first answer is rarely the whole answer.
That’s usually where the interesting part begins.
I changed the copy.
Changed the colours.
Redesigned the pages.
Nothing worked.
Because I was trying to improve a website built for a business I had already outgrown.
That realisation became Becoming You Within.
Every project begins with curiosity.
I don’t believe the best solutions come from making things look better overnight.
I believe they come from understanding what has changed, recognising what no longer fits, and creating something that feels intentional again.
That’s why my work combines reflection, strategy, and UX thinking.
The design is important.
But the thinking behind it matters even more.
The answers rarely appear by rushing into a redesign. They emerge when we understand what has changed first.
Good questions uncover patterns that quick solutions often miss.
The goal isn’t to add more. It’s to make what already matters easier to see.
Every recommendation has a reason behind it. Nothing is added simply because it’s expected.
I work through writing — deliberately.
It gives both of us time to think before responding. Space for better questions, more honest answers, and the kind of depth that rarely fits neatly into a one-hour meeting.
The slower pace isn’t a limitation. It’s part of the process.
I stay with the question.
I go past the obvious answer to find out what’s actually underneath.
That’s why reflection isn’t homework. It’s part of the work.
